All Tradeswomen and Women in the Construction Industry are welcome to join the Sisters in the Building Trades as they continue to reach around the globe connecting tradeswomen to learn, teach, share, help and find solutions to change the culture of our industry. It could be something as simple as donating the price of morning coffee, Tools (old and new), Safety Gear and First Aid Supplies, to stepping up to be one of the International Tradeswomen Delegates flying out this year.
This October they are again going to the Philippines and partnering with local Organizations to put on a Tradeswomen Conference at the only training center in the country teaching women nontraditional trades.
They will then fly to Sydney to attend theĀ 3rd Women in Trades Conference in Australia
They will then join with our Sisters in Australia, fly to Papua New Guinea and put on the first Meri Trades Gathering where we are helping create the first Tradeswomen nonprofit in the country. (Meri = women).
During the stay in each country they will be touring jobsites, training centers and meeting with tradeswomen, organizers and educators. They have modifiable letters to send to employers, union locals, merchants and others to ask for support for the project and or support to sponsor tradeswomen to defray their cost to fly out as
an International Tradeswoman Delegate.
This project is only possible, with the help of hundreds who are supportive of diversity in the trades and changing our culture to allow that to be our future.
Details of the outreach effort and agenda are on ourĀ Fundraiser page.
We have many of the items needed listed on our Amazon Wish List
There is more information on this Flyer.
