Regional Councils

The MN Building & Construction Trades Council is chartered by the Building & Construction Trades Department of the National AFL-CIO. The state Council provides leadership through direction and cooperation from 9 regional councils. Regional councils support the efforts of labor in their region and can provide information relative to union projects, affiliate members and apprenticeship opportunities.

Regional Council Meeting Dates & Times:

Brainerd Building Trades: First Thursday of the month, 11:00 a.m., Front Street Cafe, 616 Front Street, Brainerd, MN.

Central Minnesota Building Trades: Third Thursday of the month, 9:00 a.m., St. Cloud Labor Home – 1903 4th Street N, St. Cloud, MN.

Iron Range Building Trades: Fourth Tuesday of the month, 4:00 p.m., Local 49 Operating Engineers Office – 8381 Enterprise Drive, Virginia, MN.

Mankato Building Trades: Second Tuesday of the month, 9:00 a.m., Mankato Labor Temple – 310 S McKinzie Street, Mankato, MN.

Minneapolis Building Trades: Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. and second Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m., 312 Central Avenue, SE, Suite 219, Minneapolis, MN.

Northwest Building Trades: Fourth Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m., Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 11, 15600 Heille Ridge Lane, Detroit Lakes, MN.

St. Paul Building Trades: Every Thursday, 9:30 am, first Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m., St. Paul Labor Center, 353 W. 7th Street, St. Paul.

Southeast Building Trades: Fourth Tuesdays, 9:00 a.m., locations vary.
