The Regional Building Trades Councils in Representative Craig’s district recommended the endorsement to the State Council Executive Board which is made up of leaders of all 15 Building Trades Unions. “Representative Craig has spent her first term working to ensure the economic health of Minnesota’s 70,000 union construction professionals, their families and communities,” said Jessica Looman, Executive Director of the Minnesota Building and Construction Trades. “Representative Craig works to protect the rights of unions and their members to organize and collectively bargain for fair, safe workplaces, and we are proud to endorse her for a second term.”
Representative Craig’s platform also includes fighting to make sure career skills and technical education is an option for every young person; to lower the cost of healthcare and to work toward a solution that expands healthcare to many more Americans; and for infrastructure investments that benefit all of our communities.
