This Workers Memorial Day, we reflect on those lives that have been lost due to construction injury or illness. This past year, we lost five workers – Zachary Pumper and Payton Schaust from the Laborers Local 563; Eric Koepp and Mark Olson from the I.U.O.E. Local 49; and Cory Buerke from Bricklayers Local 1. Our condolences go out to their families, friends, and coworkers. The Minnesota Building Trades advocates for workers so all of our brothers and sisters come home safe and healthy every day.
